A New Year

I have been reflecting....

reflecting...

REFLECTING.

I don't know why. Maybe, that is what comes with older age.

I dunno.

But, it has provided me much opportunity to be THANKFUL! We have had a few tough couple of years. Whether due to health, moving, changes, family... things have been, well... some have been painful. Others have been joyful. All these things were sifted through God's hand first and I have been blessed in both my trials and my triumphs.

This is just a brief recap of the past few years:

2009 - A time of Perseverance
2010 - A time of Healing
2011 - A time of Decisions
2012 - A time of Changes

and I anticipate...

2013 - A time of REJOICING!

All this reflection started out with my trip to Guatemala at the beginning of 2012. See?! This pic proves it. I was meant to reflect this year... gulp.

Here is a sweet little quote that a friend of mine posted on a social networking site. I thought it would be a good quote for me to consider during 2013...

Do not follow where the path may lead.

Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson

I am all about leaving trails this year. {After all, I'm not getting any younger}.

In my personal and professional life.... how about you?!
